My name is Ken, a young and passionate guy from a lovely country – Malaysia.
Feel free to add/contact me in my facebook, because not many people got a blog:)

We can have more chatting and convenient discussion:)

Throughout my years I have always dabbled in trying and create something new every way possible. Being trained in formulating pharmaceutical preparation, I highly understood what is artificial and natural. God ‘creates’ the nature and the wonders, human in fact ‘explore’ the nature. and it is not true to claim ‘created by’ rather should be” discovered by’. When you look at the things around, they are miracles, including you and me. It’s truly amazing how God has designed the perfect nature for us.

Working in health care sector, collaborated with microbiologist, pharmacist and veterinarian, I had a great time and experience in some ongoing research as follow:

1) To study the secretion of antibiotic from local isolated microbes sp.
2) To study the antimicrobial effect of Herb extract against Multi-Resistant Pathogen.
3) To study the epidemiology of Hospital-acquired superbugs (MRSA, Acinetobacter Baumanni) in Hospital.

4) To study the epidemiology of Community acquired Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE).
5) To study the effective usage of Beneficial Multiple Microbes (BMM) in Agriculture, Horticulture, aquaculture, feed meal fermentation, animal probiotic and animal waste treatment. (Collaborative works with Local Farmers, local feedstock manufacturer, Biotechnology Companies)

Recording the morphological pattern of microbes

I have been ‘playing’ around with microbes for several years, a typical microbes-fanatic.

Started from Baker/ethanol yeast, various lactic acid bacteria sp, bacillus subtilis, various phototropic bacteria, Rhizopus oligosporus, Nitrfying bacteria, Nitrogen Fixation bacteria, Aspergillus Oryzae, Green algae, Plankton(shrimp’s food).. But, haven’t touch the virus for time being (It’s still s risky job). Yet, I am still attempting some safest ways out to explore them.

Things related to microbes.. Good or bad microbes, agriculture, livestock, aquaculture, bio-pharmaceutical, food fermentation, herbs extract etc are all my field of interest. I love exploring new methods, technologies, and DIY stuff. All of them are all too much for me to learn, yet drawing me most of the time, burning most of my passionate desire.

On a slightly related note, I have also trained in laboratory works in handling various types of analytical cases. In my working place, I often encountered with microbes, but mostly the pathogenic type – some of them are even human’s and animal’s ultimate lethal killer!

With this platform and channel, I do hope we can go along the exploring journey of microbes, Learning and sharing, continually discovering the mystery of nature. Do catch up with me!!
